Creating Stained Glass Art

Stained glass is an amazing medium crafted by skilled artisans. It requires many steps including design, color choice, cutting, assembly, soldering, patina, finishing, and installation. Because of these creative features, stained glass can be very challenging and expensive to work with – there isn’t much room for error. 

For this Artist, color and texture are the most important factors when designing and creating a piece of stained glass. Color is the first aspect you notice about glass – even before the design – and it’s usually one of the most beautiful elements.  While I am very conscious of the cost of the glass I choose when creating a piece, I do not compromise on the esthetic values.
